Check-point is situated at Fort Konstantin, that is historical fortification built in the middle of XIX century near Kronshtadt and named by Imperator Nikolas I in honor of his son. Fort is a monument of federal importance and all construction works in its area are prohibited by law. By this reason all elements of infrastructure necessary for check-point function and passenger service activity are situated on the floating pierces. The Fort’s proximity to the point of entrance C-1 – main sea gates into the city area, is very convenient from logistical point of view. The circular highway that runs nearby, offers to all yachtsmen the possibility to reach any point of the city by land transport avoiding traffic jams.

THE PURPOSE OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER CONSTRUCTION:

ADVANTAGE

  • to accelerate and facilitate the control process
  • to create comfortable conditions for those who decided to stay in the Fort’s yachting station area after the border crossing
  • to draw tourists to the objects of cultural
  • importance and to develop local tourist center
